I blog for me. I don't want fame or fortune and I don't strive to have a certain amount of hits each month. Why am I writing about this? I have been taking Holly Becker from Decor8's e-course Blogging your Way 2.0. A part of my homework is to write on why I blog and what I have learnt over the past weeks of doing the course.
I blog for me. I don't want fame or fortune and I don't strive to have a certain amount of hits each month. Why am I writing about this? I have been taking Holly Becker from Decor8's e-course Blogging your Way 2.0. A part of my homework is to write on why I blog and what I have learnt over the past weeks of doing the course.I have taken Holly's course before and it was the best thing for my confidence in blogging. The course made me "Come out" to my family and friends. Since then I havnen't stopped talking about it. I drive my friend, family and work mates crazy. 2.0 has given me the added boost to look at the things that make me happy. To spend time doing the things I love. Don't get me wrong, I love my "Real Life" job but I also love designing and sharing the things I love. This is why I blog.
I first wanted to Blog after finding The Design Files, a visual feast of all things design. Lucy inspired me to explore the webisphere for other blogs. Where I found Decor 8, Design*Sponge and Desire to Inspire. The list goes on and on.
As a said I blog for me, it makes me happy. Blogging has opened a few doors for me over the past couple of months. This wouldn't have happened without the virtual push I got from Blogging Your Way! And for that I am truly grateful.
