iPhone addict....

I officially have iphone envy! Lord Fable has just got one and does not appreciate technology, so I kidnapped it over the weekend and downloaded some great free and rather cheap Apps.

Firstly, I have been admiring Mr Jason Grants blog and his great pics.  Jason is the Style Director for Real Living Magazine. He touches on his adventures, great places to shop and of course what he gets up to at Real Living,

His Pics are great, nice saturated colour, grainy Polaroid looking images. So I asked him what he used if it was film or digital. To my surprise he told me it was all on his iphone with a tricky app. That app being ShakeItPhoto. For only $1.19 through the iTunes store it is a steal.

The coolest thing about this App is that you take the pick, the poloroid slides down the screen and the you "shake it like a Polaroid Picture" and Wala, one pretty photo. Obsessed is the only way I can describe it. I took photos are you can see above of everything, mindane yet still kind of cool. An one of me too.

Another great app is MoreLomo. It is free which is even better. It replicates a Lomo camera. I love this. My pics of mundane things are below. I love the colour!!

Now I just have to get my own iPhone.

My name is Lady Fable and i have an addiction

I have a new addiction....Ebay and buying things that i don't need or have no where to put.  Seriously this is becoming and issue. I have on top of my new purchases about 10 pieces that need a wall to live on and i just have no room!!

I just thought I would show you what a lovely purchase I have made. It is a destination bus roll from a London Double Decker Bus. I have no where to hang this beauty but it was a price I could not refuse. It is currently living in my wardrobe wrapped up and waiting for it to be framed and hung on the wall.

This is a great way to add a graphic element to a wall and can be inexpensive. I have tried to purchase a old Melbourne tram roll but these baby's go for between $400 - $800. My London roll cost under $70AU plus postage.

Maybe if I stop purchasing this stuff I might be able to afford my own place........

Miss likes a Lady

Sorry I have been absent this week, my real work has taken up a little bit of my time.

I have however found a website that i would love to share. Remember Petrova from Project Runway. She made quirky pieces that had a multi function. Well I came across her site today.

It has a online store, which is great and even better things are currently on sale. I personally L O V E her The Fragile & Flawless dress. I will be definatly making a purchasing this piece. I can be worn so many ways: strapless, off the shoulder or normally. To top this off it is revesible. Love it. Got to the site and check out Lady Petrova!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all!

I had a very low key NYE, few drinks with some really good friends. My friend is house sitting a old Church that has been converted into a great space, so we had our festivities there. Bedrooms upstairs and everything else down stairs. The one thing that I loved about this place was the hanging glass baulbes that hung from the high ceiling.

I spent 45 mins putting tea lights in about 45 of these baubles. The result was great and well worth it. I have attempted to take some photos. Please see below.

These aren't the best shots in the world but you can get the idea.

I have searched to see where I can buy these beauties in Australia, but only found them on a Crate and Barrel (USA) site CB2.com.  They do do international orders, but you need to put in a request form.
